New to sewing? This is the class for you! Students will learn to navigate and operate a basic machine safely. Some beginner sewing techniques such as straight stitch, zig zag stitch and a double turn hem will be included. At the end of the session you will know how to use your machine and make a tote bag. Materials are included in the course fee.

Learn the basics of using a serger! In this class we will go over the basics of threading, stitch settings, tension, differential feed and more! This knowledge will be applied to make a Strip-Pieced Fleece Throw. This is a beginner friendly class, open to participants ages 14 and up.
