New to sewing? This is the class for you!

Students will learn to navigate and operate a basic machine safely. Some beginner sewing techniques such as straight stitch, zig zag stitch and a double turn hem will be included. At the end of the session you will know how to use your machine and make a tote bag. Materials are included in the course fee.

Tools needed:

• Universal Needles
• Scissors
• Pins
• Clips (optional but recommended)
• Marking Tool (Chalk/Washout Marker) that will show up on your fabric
• Seam Gauge

Sewing Machines and tools are not provided for this class, you must bring your own. Add on a Beginner Sewing Kit that includes the tools needed to attend all of our classes and a machine rental if you do not have your own.

ALL COURSE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Please make sure that you are certain of your availability prior to registering/processing payment. If your schedule changes and you notify us by email at least 7 days in advance, we offer you a credit to be used towards a future class. If we need to cancel a class for any reason, your class fee will be fully refunded in this case only.
