Silly Goose Plush - Windsor
Create the cutest handmade companion in this playful sewing class featuring the Woollypetals Silly Goose Pattern! Perfect for confident beginners and beyond, this class will guide you through sewing your very own soft and quirky goose plush, complete with charming details and plenty of personality.
Students will learn techniques for working with curves, stuffing, shaping, and assembling plush projects while creating a whimsical goose that’s perfect for gifting, decorating, or keeping as your own feathered friend. Choose from fun cottagecore-inspired florals to bold and silly statement prints to make your goose uniquely yours.
Ages 16 and up are welcome. By the end of class, you’ll leave with an adorable finished goose and the skills to tackle even more plush sewing projects with confidence. Warning: one goose may quickly turn into a whole flock!
This class is geared at the confident beginner and up. Prior sewing experience is required for this class, you must know how to operate a sewing machine but no prior quilting or plushie experience is required. If you don't have any prior sewing experience, please take our Machine 101 class.
Materials are not included in the cost of this class, all materials and tools can be purchased during or prior to class at a 20% discount.
Materials Needed:
Please note this hat can be made out of solid fabric or patchwork. If you are doing the patchwork option, you must buy pre-cut fabric or cut your fabric before attending class.
- Quilting Cotton: Body - 0.75 yd, Wings - 0.25yd, Legs (optional) - 6x8” for solid option
- OR 1 5" Charm Pack for Patchwork Option
- 2” square piece of felt or quilting cotton for eyes
- 10x20" batting for wings (optional)
- 0.25yds of SF101 or equivalent woven interfacing
- 1lb bag of stuffing
- Coordinating Thread
- Universal 90/14 Needles
Tools needed:
- Rotary Cutter (45mm)
- Scissors
- Seam ripper
- Pins
- Clips
- Clear ruler with 1/8" markings (we recommend a 3"x24" or 6x24" rectangle)
- Heat or Water Erasable Pen
- 1/4" foot for your machine
- Walking foot for your machine
You can bring your own machine or use one of our machines for this class.

ALL COURSE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Please make sure that you are certain of your availability prior to registering/processing payment. If your schedule changes and you notify us by email at least 7 days in advance, we can offer you a credit to be used towards a future class. If we need to cancel a class for any reason, your class fee will be fully refunded in this case only.
