In this course you will create a custom fitted one or two piece swim suit. Learn how to use a serger on swim fabrics, trace and cut a commercial pattern, use swimwear elastics and linings. 

This workshop is open to intermediate sewists, aged 16 and up.

Materials are not provided for this class. Materials can be purchased in store prior to class at a 20% discount off the regular price, you will be provided with a choice of patterns to choose from. You will be given a materials list for your selected pattern.
 
A serger is recommended for this class, but is not required. A sewing machine is required in addition to the serger. 

Tools needed:

• Stretch Needles
• Scissors
• Pins
• Clips (optional but recommended)
• Rotary Cutter (optional)
• Marking Tool (Chalk/Washout Marker) that will show up on your fabric
• Clear ruler of any size
