Learn how to construct a Poppins Bag!  The Poppins is a large zipper top bag great for all of your magical stuff! 

This is a quilted bag with side stays to keep everything in shape and two pockets on the outside and inside keep everything organized. 

This is an intermediate level class, you must be confident in operating a sewing machine and cutting pattern pieces on your own. 

Materials and machines are not provided for this class. If you would like to rent a machine to use during class, select the 'Class + Materials' option to add one on.

Materials Needed

- Aunties Two Poppin Bag Pattern with Stays
- Outside Bag Body & Pocket Fabric: 1yd for non-directional fabric, 2yds for directional fabrics
- Inside Bag Body and Pockets: 1yd for non-directional fabric, 2yds for directional fabrics
- Binding & Sashing: 1/2yd
- Bosal IN-R-FORM PLUS: 1yd
- Bosal CRAF-TEX PLUS or Pellon 72F Peltex: 3/4yd
- 30" of zipper tape & 2 zipper pulls
- Matching thread

Tools Needed

- Walking foot
- Size 100/16 Jeans Needle
- Removable marker or chalk
- Scissors & Rotary Cutter
- Clips & Pins
- Clear ruler, 6x24" recommended
- Millner's hand sewing needle

Materials can be purchased in store prior to the first class at a discount. Participants must cut out all bag pieces prior to the first class, we will begin sewing at the beginning to the class. 

This class is two sessions, participants must attend both dates. 

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

ALL COURSE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Please make sure that you are certain of your availability prior to registering/processing payment. If your schedule changes and you notify us by email at least 7 days in advance, we offer you a credit to be used towards a future class. If we need to cancel a class for any reason, your class fee will be fully refunded in this case only. Class may be canceled if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
