Learn to Sew 2 - Windsor
Are you ready to enhance your garment making skills?
Over the course of 4 weeks, you will learn how to construct a button down shirt or shirt dress.
This class is for adults, open to ages 14 and older
Skills Taught:
- Types of fabric and choosing the right fabric for your project
- How to alter a pattern
- Buttons & buttonholes
- Cuffs & pleats
- Placket
For curvy sizes we will be using the Closet Core Jenna and for straight sizes we will be using the Fairfield Button Up Shirt
Prior sewing experience is required, if you are new to sewing please complete Machine 101 and Learn to Sew prior to registering for this class.
You can purchase a beginner supplies kit with all the tools required for this course in our Beginner Sewing Kit. Fabric can be purchased in store on the first day of the course.
Tools needed:
- Universal & Stretch Needles
- Scissors
- Pins
- Clips (optional but recommended)
- Marking Tool (Chalk/Washout Marker) that will show up on your fabric
- Seam Gauge
Sewing Machines and tools are not provided for this class, you must bring your own.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
ALL COURSE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Please make sure that you are certain of your availability prior to registering/processing payment. If your schedule changes and you notify us by email at least 7 days in advance, we offer you a credit to be used towards a future class. If we need to cancel a class for any reason, your class fee will be fully refunded in this case only.
