Learn how to make a zippered pencil case to hold all your supplies for the upcoming school year!

This class is open to youth, ages 12 and up

Materials are not provided for this class. You will need:

• 1/3 yd of cotton** OR 2 fat quarters (one for lining & one for main fabric)
• 1/3 yd lightweight fusing (optional but recommended) – we recommend Pellon SF-101
• 12” nylon zipper
• Thread to match

Tools needed:

• Universal Needles
• Zipper Foot for your machine
• Scissors
• Pins
• Clips (optional but recommended)
• Marking Tool (Chalk/Washout Marker) that will show up on your fabric

 Add on a beginner sewing kit for $60+hst with all the tools needed for our classes.

Sewing Machines and tools are not provided for this class, you must bring your own. 


Don't have a machine? Leave us a note at checkout that you would like to do a machine rental for class. There is a rental fee of $10+hst

ALL COURSE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Please make sure that you are certain of your availability prior to registering/processing payment. If your schedule changes and you notify us by email at least 7 days in advance, we offer you a credit to be used towards a future class. If we need to cancel a class for any reason, your class fee will be fully refunded in this case only.
